I recently upgraded my iPhone 3GS to a 4. I was, like many, planning on skipping the 4-series altogether and waiting for the iPhone 5 to come out before upgrading. My 3GS was still working good enough in all aspects, and I’m not trying to keep up with Apple’s product cycles. I was disappointed when the announcement was made that the new iPhone release was for the 4S. This shouldn’t have been a surprise as it was in line with their previous release patterns. I guess it was just the effect of the predictions/rumors made online combined with my excitement of getting a new shiny device that led to my dismay. I then decided going for the old 4-series model was an acceptable compensation since it was now available at a discount. I grabbed it, backed up all my iPhone data with iCloud, restored it onto the new iPhone 4 and I was set. Now all I needed was some nice wallpaper graphics…
